January - Coffee Filters

Trying something different. A craft-y post, and textures. Ooooh.
I see many things on Pinterest that I want to make but this one caught my attention. I love huge lanterns and lights that hang from the ceiling but of course they are way too expensive(for me anyways). When I found this tutorial I couldn't resist. Like I said, I found it on Pinterest but the post is from Jones Design Company.
I bought the styrofoam ball for $6 at Michael's, and she said she used 100 coffee filters so I bought 2 packs(just to be safe and thank God I bought two) of 100 for 89¢ a piece at Target. This was such an easy project but of course I made it the longest, most difficult project ever.

Separating and folding the filters was the most time consuming part. I also burnt myself multiple times with the glue gun.

Christmas Vacation

My sister and I went home for Christmas to see our parents, sisters, nieces and nephew. It was beyond fun since we hadn't seen our parents for 6 months(way too long) and our sisters for over a year. It was so cold and snowy but without that, it just doesn't feel like Christmas.

Jacksonville zoo

My family went to Jacksonville after Christmas to spend time with family up there and had such a lovely time. My niece, sister-in-law, mom and sister went to the zoo and it was so fun. I think I was more excited to go than my niece because I just really love animals. I took sooooo many pictures and how I have 17 of snakes I have no idea (since I'm terrified of them and no I'm not posting any.) I loved watching my niece and sister feed the giraffes and pet the sting rays. We also went to the bird house, minus mom and sister-in-law because they don't like birds. My sister always manages to have birds land on her head hehe. - Chelsey

Also, I'm doing 365 again this year :)
